Mrs. Anusha

Parent of B.Vedanshi - Grade I J

JGS has always been my first preference when it came to my daughter’s learning journey. The environment, the atmosphere, the ambience, the staff, the approach ,the security system, discipline and everything being so planned and organized makes me realize I made the best decision. The school recently came up with an initiative to give the parents classroom experience. Parents were given a good number of alternatives to choose a date of their choice and attend the classes to give constructive feedback if any. These kinds of initiatives are an experience for us too and give us confidence in the system. There is no scope for surprises in such scenarios as everything is very transparent.I would request the school management to come up with more such initiatives that would encourage parents to be an active part of the child’s learning curriculum not only at home, but even at school. This experience has encouraged the students as well, since they felt very happy having us as a part of their class and learning. Thank you JGS for this experience and would appreciate more such initiatives in the future.

I am Naveen Kumar Ramidi , parent of Prerana Reddy Ramidi studying in Class 5C. I would like to share my feedback about the functioning of school in general and also about Covid protocols/care taken by School.Firstly ,Challenging times we had in 2020 and 2021 with the outbreak of Covid 19 Pandemic, we have noticed how fast the School has adjusted from in person classroom to remote online classroom/teaching, trying new technologies, managing the online classes with no or minimal glitches.Tremendous achievement when compared to many other corporate schools which took time to adjust to online teaching. You have even continued Extra curricular activities, online picnics like regular classes.Kept the morale of the students up when they cannot meet friends. Post opening up of the hybrid model of Physical classes,we were cautious, but school followed utmost care and responsibility and protocols of Govt rules/orders and health safety standards. This is very much appreciated. We sent our kids to school with full confidence and had no issues even once. Another feather in the hat achievement. We liked the way you organized the Final Parent Teacher meeting after Final exams and shared Student progress reports ,it was very commendable.
I am also a HSCP Parent Committee Member, Appreciate the school taking many precautions and health and safety standards and always trying to resolve newer issues which keep arising due to dynamic and challenging environments around.
Post Regular opening of classes, many changes and appreciate the efforts.

Mr. YOUNUS BASHA

School is open minded and think outside the box to make a successful educational experience for the students. They teach value lessons, communication and leadership skills. Class teacher Audrey man and Coordinator Rakhima mam of the school is very helpful and supportive 😊😊😊😊. My son studies in LKG and class is very well managed, new ways of learning and understanding in the classroom

Mr. Yuva Raaju

A well-rounded student comes out of JGS. No school in the 20-km radius can claim that. I, as a proud parent, vouch for that. To run a school, one needs funds. That does not make JGS a money minded institute. Over the last 2 years, JGS, against all odds, has transformed tremendously and progressed further as a school that is safe and secure for children.

Rishika Reddy Tummala

I completed my 11 and 12 from Johnson Grammar School, Mallapur. The school not only taught education but also nurtured with the values of caring, sharing and focused on the overall perspective of the student. It also focuses on extra curricular activities. The Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced and knowledgeable. They recognize the skills and talent of the student and give suitable suggestions. The school has a morning assembly, proper uniform, disciplined environment. The school also organizes many career guidance cells. I am proud to be a Johnsonite.

Ballreddy Minkuri

As a parent, I am happy with Johnson Grammar School. The dedicated teachers and staff create a warm and nurturing environment where my child feels valued and motivated to learn. The curriculum is well-rounded, striking a perfect balance between academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. The school’s emphasis on character development and values instills a sense of integrity and empathy in my child. Communication with the school is excellent, keeping me well-informed about my child’s progress. I couldn’t be more happy with the educational experience Johnson Grammar School provides for my child!

Madhu mallika

Being a student of Johnson Grammar ISC was a thoroughly fulfilling experience. Students receive a lot of support and wonderful quality of education here thanks to the amazing staff members. The school strives for the holistic development of a student and helps them become the best versions of themselves.

Charita Sai

Johnson grammar school has been my first choice to pursue my 11th and 12th grades. Johnson grammar school has aided in my overall holistic development for me, as the school has provided me with various opportunities like debate and extempore competitions, writing competitions, sports competitions, organization of fests, and taking part in assemblies. Teachers are incredibly supportive, if you have any difficulty in understanding a topic they are there for you to teach multiple times until you understand. There are many counseling sessions, alumni talk, and university fairs as well, which will guide you in making the right choice for your career. If you are looking for exposure to sports, we have various sports clubs which are active, and every year students have the opportunity to showcase their talent in intra-school, inter-school, regional competitions, and even national competitions. I am part of the basketball club and it was worth it. This year we have won more than 200 cups in the field of sports. My peers have the nationals in the debate competition. In a nutshell, teaching is top notch and the exposure you are getting here is worth it.If you have any doubts regarding the school, feel free to leave a comment down and I will answer it at the earliest.

I am really proud mother of two daughters studying in High School of Johnson Grammar School ICSE, Mallapur. I always trust the school for their continuous effort in providing a platform to the children with courage, imparting good education, building up the overall personality. The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a great initiative from the school. Being the member of this PTA, I understand the sincere efforts taken by the teachers, management and blue collar staff in upbringing the future citizens of our country. Request the management to continue their best practices, identifying and taking necessary actions and the areas of improvement.

Being parents we must co – operate with school staff in helping our children’s bright career.

Arun Kumar Nelanti and Roop Kumar Naidu

I Arun Kumar Nelanti, and Roop Kumar Naidu,(PTA members of IX Standard), have visited the school at 7.45 am in connection with the invite made by Ms Lakshmi Ayyappan, (School incharge) during the PTA meeting held on 10/11/2018.

On our visit, we were welcomed by Ms Lakshmi Ayyappan and Ms Annapurna Madam (Examination Coordinator) and furnished all the material prepared with regard to seating arrangements and the invigilation duties.

We were surprised to see the exercise done for conducting the exams well in advance.   All the statements with regard to arrangements were scheduled in an deep concern.

We observed the pattern of seating arrangements made with mixed classes giving no scope of malpractice.

We observed the number in each class is restricted to 27 students.

Ratio of 1:27 was observed for invigilation.
We further observed that certain students were allowed for appearing for examination in the sick bay with convenient posture as they were suffering with health disorder. (This made me proud to be a parent of Johnsonite by seeing the Maternal care they take on the students)
I respectfully thank Dr.Chandrashekar garu and the staff for such a caring attitude and towards the students and the interest in paving their path.

We further gone through all the examination rooms viz., AV Room, AmphiTheatre hall, and the class rooms in 1st and 2nd Floors.

We personally visited all the rooms equipped with CC Cameras monitored by Lakshmi Ayyappan madam and Rector madam regularly. (Thank You madam)

We observed pin drop silence in each and every class we went through.

My perception on the examination pattern and the procedure was very much dissimilar to the actual situation we noticed in the school (felt apologetic myself for thinking incorrectly)

After visiting each and every class in the school we have neither heard a word from the teacher nor the student. It was silent to the peaks where the recollection of data from the mind of a student is dragged automatically in a peaceful ambience.
We further moved on to the ICSE X standard examination hall arranged in 4th floor of new campus, in front of the old premises.  On that day exam was not scheduled for the X students. So we were allowed to visit the Examination hall.

The premises was a full-sized hall arranged with 360 sets (chair and table labelled with name and hall ticket number).  I was personally shocked for the arrangements made temporarily, where the school administration has not compromised on the peaceful ambience for the students to write the exam. (Please imagine how so many sets were brought to 4th floor even it is for temporary purpose).  The School would have arranged in the existing old building as they have sufficient rooms in the old building.  But they were very much concerned on the students aspect.  Dr.Chandrashekar garu has taken interest and made this temporary arrangement for the students.

It was stunned to see that the floor was under construction where temporarily 110 lights and 110 fans were arranged along with 8 CC cameras of high quality and best range to cover the premises.  Temporary windows and railings were prepared and fixed in the entire hall with fire extinguishers giving a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere.  Students can easily remind the stuff they have read throughout the year.

The hall was divided into 3 parts viz., A,B, & C. The whole premise was temporarily floored with red matting giving the indications for the students to choose their way to their predefined seat.  (This style of thinking to guide the students without any difficulty in finding their seat impressed me a lot).  Such type of guidance is an example for the caring attitude of the administration.
I personally and sincerely thank you Dr.Chandrashekar garu on behalf of all the parents for your concern on our children. Nowadays such interest is lacked sir.  The administration of other schools relies upon the funds which they want to drag from parents and shows no interest on the well being of students. Here you and your school are unique in the entire aspects sir. Our perception of thinking that the school milks the money for no reason will automatically vanish if you give some sought of scope to all the parents in some manner to know such type of arrangements made by the school.

I sincerely bow my head being a Law graduate and practicing advocate for taking such care on my little ones in paving their future.

I have no words personally to express my thanks after visiting the school and inspecting the examination procedures.

By prolonging the notes, there is huge list to describe my observation.  But I finally conclude with heartfelt thanks for giving me such a good opportunity for visiting the school in examination hours, and felt privileged for inviting me to the school.  I finally request the school authorities to let the parents know, what actually the school is facing and running through for the well being of students,  with such a keen arrangements.  I request the school authority to please make a visual video of the ICSE Examination hall and palace it on the school website to wipe out the misunderstandings of parents and bring a huge awareness on the care taken for students well being.

Thanking you once again heart fully,

Yours sincerely

Johnson Grammar School is perfecting in holistic approach in student development trying out best practices, processes and systems to improve the academic excellence and moulding the students with integrity and socially responsible citizens.

The school recognizes that each child is an individual and respects the individual needs of the children by creating a caring environment.

No task is as important as creating a safe and secured learning environment in this regard. The school is continuously updating and refining the safety and security measures.

Sreyashi Bhattacharjee

Being a parent representative of the HSCP community, I, Sreyashi Bhattacharjee, would like to share my thoughts on the wonderful experience that I had today in the 1st HSCP community meeting. The measures that the school has taken in order to protect the health and to ensure the safety of their children is really appreciable. The presence of ambulances, well-equipped infirmary with qualified nurses, tying up with hospitals in case of emergency etc. are quite essentials for the schools to have nowadays and JGS assures them all. The safety nets within the school, availability of first-aid boxes in each floor along with trained floor incharge, safety measures taken within the school buses etc. are quite satisfactory and thus gives enough confidence to the parents about the safety and wellbeing of their wards. The involvement of the students in these activities is a good move for making them well-aware of being safe and healthy, both physically and mentally as JGS puts equal importance on the mental health along with the physical health. To ensure proper mental health of the students, different programs are carried out by the school on a frequent basis. The presence of an anti-bullying committee, anonymous feedback sharing process etc. also ensures in-appropriate behaviors are reported in a timely manner. An independent auditing done by an external organization for certification and allowing parents to invigilate the health and safety measures shows the openness and transparency of the school management.

I sincerely thank the teachers, management and the support stuffs of the school for being so organized and taking the health and safety measures of the students so seriously!

Regards,

Sreyashi Bhattacharjee,

Parent of Sreyam Bhattacharjee (Class-X, Section-E).

Let me just thank you for inviting me to have a look into your security and safety measures of JOHNSON GRAMMAR SCHOOL. I was indeed privileged and honored on your invitation.I have done the inspection of the whole school premises which was well explained ,co-ordinated and accompanied by Madam Lakshmi Aiyyapan(ACADEMIC SUPPORT HEAD). I had visited the whole school viz RECEPTION,AVROOM, AMPHI THEATRE On the ground floor & COMPUTER SCIENCE LABS On the first and second floor. The pathway to the floors were really good with emergency exits and fire extinguishers. The Labs were really safe with all precautions with Do’s and Don’ts clearly mentioned in the lab. I had mentioned that these safety points can be made larger and/or a board put up which would be more visible. I had met the principal ,teachers and other staff on my way while on inspection and found them to be very receptive and kind. There were cameras in place wherever necessary. I HAD PERSONALLY LIKED THE CONCEPT OF THE SCHOOL HAVE A CHILD COUNSELLOR WHEREINTHE CHILD CAN GET COUNSELED ON HER OR HIS PROBLEMS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL PREMISES.

I had visited the other building and while passing through I had seen the transport manager and learnt the security measures they take while transporting a child in the school bus. I was quite convinced by their measures they have left no stone unturned with regard to the safety of a child. I had met the principal and have monitored all the safety issues pertaining to the school and iam quite pleased by their reply and the measures being taken. I have also learnt that there is hspc(health safety and child protection) in place in the school. There is also a CAMC(child abuse monitoring committee) where in parents are also part of a committee. This committee meets every month on the third week of every month to act on issues and new rules to be framed if any. I am writing this letter solely on my own self and let me tell you that I am happy and proud that my son who is in class 8th is part of Johnson family. The saying of joy of being is perfectly apt to the school. Iam basically critical on various issues but found it hard to find any mistakes or be critical in this school. I thank you once again for your invitation and would be quite happy to be part of any such requirement in future in the school.

Dr. D S Rayal (Parent)

We are very thankful to all of your “Teaching Faculty” and of course, Principal and other Staff Members who guided, supported & blessed directly or indirectly my son Chy. Datta Sainath Dwarampudi who completed successfully Inter with Certificate of Merit (College First out of 254 Students) in 2012, B.Tech.(ECE) with Certificate of Merit (Silver Medalist out of 180 Students) in 2016 & M.S. (Computer Science) with Certificate of Merit (GPA:3.97 out of 4.0 & almost in top 10 out of 200 approx.) + achieved continuous scholarship in all 5 semesters + worked as a Teaching Assistant for max. hours and got Internship at “AMAZON US” after 5 rounds of interviews as a part of the curriculum during 2016 – 2018 academic years from NYU US. Now, he has joined in “AMAZON US HO at Seattle, US as a Software Engineer. Above of these academic achievements, I felt so happy about his statement that “there are so many other students who are more intelligents, but their priorities are different and this is my luck, so Daddy, don’t consider marks & placement”…

NOTE: He studied LKG – X Class  in JOHNSON GRAMMAR SCHOOL during 1998 – 2010 academic years
